Firsties!

This is Fancy Lads, wherein Jon and I talk about all the places we eat, and sometimes the food we make. For we are fancy lads indeed.

I'll start: So Jon and I have a tradition of going to try new restaurants on Sundays before a new episode of Leverage. It is Leverage Sunday. This week, we were going to try Burguesa Burger down on Hickory and Industrial, but those fuckballs are closed on Sundays. Like dicks. Although we will still try them on another day, because they have a burger with avocado and refried beans on it. Regardless, we needed food, so we went to Weinberger's Deli instead. Short review: good sandwich, too damn expensive. I got the Mark Cuban, which is pork, ham, cheese, mustard, and pickle slices, pressed on a baguette. Not a bad sandwich, although we came in close to closing and everything seemed a little dry. Like the dry you get when you order old bread at Subway. For that, a bag of Lays, a pickle spear (a sad one...for shame, deli) and an iced tea, it was $10, which is way too much for the quality. I didn't hate the sandwich, but for that price, I'll likely stay away.
